A young male patient recently visited our OPD with a broken and mobile front tooth after a fall while playing. On examination, it was diagnosed as an Ellis Class 2 fracture – a case where the inner layer (dentin) of the tooth is exposed.
The treatment plan included:
- Composite restoration to repair the visible part of the tooth
- Root Canal Treatment with Apexification, as the root was immature
